This year’s edition of the uncompromising trail run that crosses Mt. Meron area through the scenic resorts of Amud, Neria, and Moran streams. Having the notorious Mitspe-Hayamim ascent along the trail guarantees to give you a decent run for your experiance. The Holy Trail will start at the 9th of April 2021. The long version will be a 56k/2400D+ loop, the short version will be a 31k/1400D+ loop. This year we are adding a shorter lap as well, to make the course more approachable for a variety of runners, therefore, the shortest lap will be 21k/850D+.

ARRIVAL AND START AREA- FRIDAY 23/4/2021
Start and finish will take place at the Pitul parking area (right next to Meron settlement via road 866). Link prvided here:

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION! There will be no official timing or bib numbers. Please be patient and ready to assist your fellow runners in case of need.
Having the track downloaded to your GPS watch is a mandatory!
You cannot start without it. The trail is unmarked. (The route is on national resort marked trails).
It is highly recommended to run in groups in order to minimize the option of losing your way.
Leave absolutely nothing behind. You are running on national resort trails.
Maintain proper food intake and hydration.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Running vest containing at least 1.5 L of water.
GPS watch with the event route downloaded.
Hat/sunglasses.
Food for the entire duration of the route.
First aid kit.
Additional dry pair of clothes/arm sleeves.
Mobile phone with emergency numbers in it.
Recommended
Running poles.
Spare socks.
Anti-chafing cream.
